Traffic restrictions due to a planned rally on Friday
Due to a planned rally, traffic disruptions may occur in downtown Jena on Friday, September 25, 2026, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The following schedule is planned:
Rally “School Strike Against Conscription – Jena Demonstration Against
Upcoming Conscription and Militarization in Germany” (approximately 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.):
Organizer: Jena School Strike Alliance
- Number of participants: approx. 500 people
- Opening rally: approx. 10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m., Jena, Holzmarkt open space
- March: approx. 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
- Route: Holzmarkt– Löbderstraße – Markt – Unterm Markt – Löbdergraben – Saalbahnhofstraße – Bibliotheksweg – Bibliotheksplatz – Fürstengraben – Johannisplatz – Leutragraben – Teichgraben – Holzmarkt
- Stopovers:
- Saalbahnhofstraße near bus stop no. 10, approx. 11:45 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.
- Teichgraben near No. 4, approx. 12:05 – 12:10 p.m.
- Closing rally: approx. 12:15 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.,Holzmarkt open space
