Day of urban development

The 5th nationwide Day of Urban Development takes placeon Saturday .

In Jena, the motto for this day is "IMAGINATA - Introduce yourself!"

We cordially invite all citizens to a tour of the former switching halls:

Following the decommissioning of the former substation and the acquisition of the property by IMAGINATA e. V., extensive modernization and repair measures as well as the redesign of the outdoor facilities have been carried out in several construction phases in recent years. These measures in the technical monument have now been completed and were subsidized with urban development funds.

IMAGINATA e. V. has developed a field of experience in the switching halls and open-air grounds of the old substation, where visitors can perceive and marvel, play and ponder, discover and invent. The focus is on the station park, among other things.

IMAGINATA e. V. also invites you to an open day on this day. Admission is free.
