County road K 8 between Isserstedt and Lützeroda, short-term closures, reason: tree felling and pruning measures,from June 24, 2019 (duration approx. one week)
Stadtrodaer Straße in Lobeda, total closure in the area of the bridge between Lobeda-Ost and Lobeda-West, reason: dismantling of the supporting scaffolding, June 24, 6 a.m., until June 30, 4 p.m.
The detour will be comprehensively signposted.

The detour will be in the direction of the city center via the traffic circle at the Fair Resort Hotel and Erlanger Allee through Lobeda-Ost.

Traffic will be diverted towards the highway via the Lobeda-West slip road and straight back onto Stadtrodaer Straße, where traffic will be regulated by roadworks traffic lights at the junction with Karl-Marx-Allee.

The full closure is already widely signposted in both directions, so that the bypass from the highway or from the city via Burgau and Göschwitz should already relieve some of the congestion at the closed junction.

At busy times of the day, there will be temporary obstructions due to the full closure.

Bernhard-Schultze-Straße, full closure between Am Steinborn and the junction with Julius-Schaxel-Straße, reason: civil engineering work on supply lines, until August 27
Camburger Straße, half-sided closure, reason: laying of gas pipes, until mid-July 2019
During the construction period, road traffic in the direction of the city center will remain on Camburger Straße. Northbound traffic will be routed back to Camburger Straße via Spitzweidenweg and Scharnhorststraße.
Am Eisenbahndamm, narrowing of the road, reason: laying of a drinking water pipeline through the railroad embankment between Landveste and Straße am Eisenbahndamm, until July 26
During the construction work, the cycle/walking path will be closed in the area of the construction site at Landveste and rerouted in the area of Landveste. There will also be a temporary narrowing of the road Am Eisenbahndamm, especially at times when traffic is lighter, as one of the two left-turn lanes in the direction of Paradiesbrücke (Stadtrodaer Straße) will have to be shortened slightly.

Lichtenhainer Oberweg, full closure between the Carl-Zeiss-Promenade junction and the Döbereinerstrasse junction, until June 28
Detour via the adjacent streets Phillip-Müller-Straße; Döbereinerstraße; Friedrich-Körner-Straße.
Lutherplatz/ Inselplatz, closure of approx. 1/3 of the parking lot, reason: archaeological excavations, until September 20

Marktstraße in Lobeda-Altstadt, sectional closure, reason: expansion of Marktstraße between Marktplatz and Nikolaus-Theiner-Straße and further via Lobdeburgweg between Stadtgraben and Spitzbergstraße, until September 27
Max-Wien-Platz, traffic space restrictions in the area where Kritzegraben joins Philosophenweg, reason: development of the property at Am Philosophenweg 26, until the middle of the year

Naumburger Straße / Rautal, full closure of the Naumburger Straße / Am Steinbach intersection, reason: expansion of Naumburger Straße between Camburger Straße and Flurweg
The large-scale detour is via Brückenstraße - Wiesenstraße - Am Anger and back.

Despite the barriers in Brückenstraße: Please do not try to drive through the residential area! Public and school buses drive through the small streets. "Creeping traffic" would massively obstruct local traffic there. In addition, the sidewalks are partially separated from the carriageway - the safety of school routes has top priority.

Rautalstraße, full closure, reason: laying of new drinking water pipes
between Kuithanstraße and Ottogerd-Mühlmann-Straße
Detour via Kuithanstraße, Zitzmann-Straße, Straße and Ottogerd-Mühlmann-Straße or G.-Neumann-Straße.
In the fall of this year, this new drinking water pipeline in Rautal will be laid further to the end of Jena in the direction of Closewitz.

Schrödingerstraße 8-18, one-sided closure, reason: renovation work on the adjacent building, until November 8
Stifterstraße, complete closure, reason: laying of a new drinking water pipe, until July 31
Am Volksbad, half-sided closure, reason: construction of a sidewalk including ancillary facilities at the bus station, until June 26
The street Am Volksbad is only accessible from Grietgasse in the direction of Knebelstraße. The detour is signposted.
Westbahnhofstraße 2a to 6a, half-sided closure in the area of the retaining wall, reason: retaining wall renovation, until September 29
If there is a traffic jam into the city, the roadworks can be bypassed via Rathenaustraße - Curt-Unckel-Straße - Hainstraße and An der Brauerei.

Narrowing at Lutherplatz
From July 8 to August 9, a new water pipe will be laid in the roadway at Lutherplatz between Saalbahnhofstraße and the Am Anger junction. For this purpose, the right-hand lane leading from the Anger junction to Saalbahnhofstraße will have to be closed throughout. Traffic obstructions are to be expected.

As planned, the Am Anger road between the Anger junction and K.-Kollwitz-Straße will be closed to vehicle traffic from July 19 to 22. It is recommended to drive around the construction area on this weekend via K.-Kollwitz-Straße and Bibliotheksplatz.

The parking lot at Lutherplatz 3 opposite Hotel Schwarzer Bär cannot be used by residents during the entire construction period. It is recommended to use the parking spaces on the east side of the street Am Anger between Steinweg and Angerkreuzung.
