World premiere of the festive cantata "EIN JEGLICHES HAT SEINE ZEIT" by Ludger Vollmer

On the occasion of this special event, the festive cantata "EIN JEGLICHES HAT SEINE ZEIT" for soloists, choir, organ and orchestra, composed by the much-performed composer Ludger Vollmer (DNT Weimar: "The Circle") for the 30th anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution, will be premiered. Ludger Vollmer worked for many years in Jena and Weimar and now lives in Hamburg. The libretto was written by the writer and songwriter Stephan Krawczyk. Stephan Krawczyk was closely associated with Jena as a protagonist of the opposition in the GDR until his deportation to the West in 1988. The festive cantata was commissioned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Jena, sponsored by the City of Jena/JenaKultur and the Evangelical Church in Central Germany.
