Consistency in the chairmanship of the Seniors' Advisory Council

At yesterday's first meeting of the new Senior Citizens' Advisory Council, Ralf Kleist was once again elected Chairman. This marks the start of his second term of office on this committee.

I am delighted with the trust placed in me by the new advisory board and look forward to working with the new elderly care planner Franziska Wächter.

Almost 30% of people in Jena are over 60 and Kleist wants to get more involved so that Jena can better serve the interests of senior citizens.
