All the best to the new trainees and graduates
For a week now, 28 new trainees in 13 disciplines have been working at Jena City Council, including its own companies. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome them and wish them an instructive, successful, enjoyable and exciting time.
At the same time, we would also like to wish the 23 graduates who have completed their training with the city in 12 specialist areas all the best for the future. All graduates from the core administration have been offered employment.
24 fields of training
The city administration of Jena provides training in a total of 24 very different specializations. Among others, gardeners, emergency paramedics, automotive mechatronics technicians and tourism and leisure management assistants are trained. You can also become a civil servant candidate in the higher non-technical service or complete a dual course of study in civil engineering at the city. The list of training and study opportunities can be found on the City of Jena's career portal.
