Corona case in a hairdressing salon in Jena

Yesterday evening, a corona infection of an employee was reported in a hairdressing salon in Jena. The salon had to be closed.

The staff and customers are currently being contacted by the public health department and tests are being carried out.

This brings the active number of coronavirus cases in Jena to 17 and the total number of infections to 189.

The case of infection in a nursing home in Jena was also reported yesterday.

The facility is now closed to visitors and service providers. All 90 residents and 50 members of staff are currently being tested.
