Numerous corona infections in a Jena restaurant / 10 new cases since Saturday

We would like to preface our overview of new cases with a prominent announcement:

Six of the new cases are due to a party at the Poseidon restaurant in Winzerla. All the people on the list have already been contacted by the health department.

Anyone who was also a guest there on 10.10.2020 between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. and has not been entered on any list should please contact the Health Service (daily 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on 0049 3641-492222 or e-mail: gesundheitsamt@jena.de). Please also make sure to monitor your health. If you have the slightest symptoms (dry cough, fever, headache), please contact your family doctor and the public health department.

About the infection:

In the last 24 hours, 9 new SARS-CoV-2 virus infections have been reported to the health department, one on Sunday.

These are asymptomatic contacts with already known corona infections. All age groups are represented.

One new person had to undergo inpatient treatment. 4 people have recovered since Saturday.
