Corona situation picture in Jena
4 new SARS-CoV-2 virus infections have been reported to the health department in the last 24 hours (as of 16.11.2020, 10:00 a.m.).
4 people have been classified as recovered.
Infection incidence at schools and daycare centers
The following educational institutions are currently experiencing infections and individual classes are in quarantine - the schools are still open:
- Lobdeburgschule - one class
- IGS Grete Unrein School - one class
- Saaletal School - five classes
- Wenigenjena comprehensive school - one class
- Schiller School - one class
- SBSZ Göschwitz - one class
- Reichweingymnasium - one class
The following educational institutions are currently closed, as the contacts could not be clearly traced due to an infection event. Quarantines have been ordered for pupils, children and teachers:
- SteinMalEins elementary school (Lobeda site) - complete closure
- Schwabenhaus daycare center - complete closure
- Kinderzeit daycare center - complete closure
There were also incidents of infection at the following daycare centers. Both are open again as of today:
- Waldkindergarten Nord
- Beutenberg daycare center.
Infection events at the Jena Hospice
Over the weekend, further contact persons have reported infection incidents at the Jena Hospice. The public health department is in contact with them. The contact persons identified at the two care facilities Visitamed Seniorenresidenz Rosenthal and the DRK Seniorenheim have tested negative for Covid-19.
