Great response to Jena survey on gardens
From February 4, 2021, the city wrote to 7,000 randomly selected residents asking them to complete a 2-page questionnaire on the use of gardens. This survey is an important source of data for the ongoing update of the garden development concept. The city wants to find out how many households in Jena use a garden and how much interest there is in renting or buying one.
The questionnaires were requested to be returned by 05.03.2021. The response was unusually high: 2,370 completed questionnaires were returned. That is a high response rate. The topic has obviously met with great interest. Many thanks to all interested residents who took part in the survey in such large numbers.
The planning office commissioned with updating the garden development concept has now received the documents. The questionnaires received will be evaluated over the next few weeks and conclusions drawn regarding the future need for garden areas in the Jena urban area.
