Corona case numbers

• There were no new reports of people testing positive today. There are now 155 Covid-19 cases in Jena.
• 6 patients are in inpatient treatment, 3 with severe courses in the intensive care unit - 2 of them need to be ventilated.
• The number of people considered to have recovered has risen to 72.

Situation in Jena eased

The municipal order service carried out checks throughout the city again today. This included not only the city center, but also the large residential areas of Neu-Lobeda and Winzerla as well as the districts of Cospeda, Krippendorf, Vierzehnheiligen, Lützeroda, Closewitz, Isserstedt in the north and Maua in the south.

Despite many people enjoying the sunny weather, no violations of the corona measures have been detected so far. The colleagues are still on patrol until midnight.

#JenaVsVirus camp is looking for online ideas and bright minds

In the week after Easter, Jena's own digital camp aims to find solutions to local challenges in the current coronavirus crisis. From April 14 to 18, ideas can be developed together with others. The camp is organized by the JENA Digital network, which is based at the Jena Economic Development Agency (JenaWirtschaft). Topics are health - economy and work - nutrition, care, welfare - administration, digitalization, data as well as education and culture.
