Thuringian Corona Ordinance applies from today
The new Thuringian ordinance to contain the coronavirus has been in force since July 1, 2021. There will be no tightening in the city of Jena. Due to the low 7-day incidence in recent weeks, the general decree of the city of Jena will not be extended. This also means that masks are no longer compulsory at public transport stops and at the weekly market.
With the new Thuringian ordinance, further relaxations have been decided that do justice to the low incidences throughout the state. Protective measures such as testing, wearing a face mask and contact tracing will continue to be necessary. In order to be able to continue to enjoy the summer carefree and against the background of the further spread of the delta variant of the coronavirus, the Jena crisis team appeals to the population to continue to observe the hygiene and distance rules.
It is advised to take advantage of the testing opportunities, especially in daycare centers and schools. All persons aged 14 and over who have not yet been vaccinated are asked to make an appointment at the vaccination centers or with their family doctors. Second vaccination appointments should be made without fail. Only with complete vaccination protection can we succeed in containing the spread of the delta variant of the virus and prevent a renewed tightening of measures. Alternative vaccination options are also being prepared in the city.
Notification and permission of events by the city of Jena necessary
The current regulations will be available on the city's information pages at jena.de/corona. The link for the notification of public and private events can also be found here(https://service.jena.de/de/veranstaltungen-oeffentliche-anzeigen).
- Larger non-public or private celebrations (weddings, graduation balls, birthdays, club meetings, etc.) are once again possible. If more than 70 people attend in the open air and more than 30 people attend indoors, the City of Jena must be notified five working days in advance.
- Public events must also be notified at least five working days in advance.
- Large public events (more than 1,000 people in the open air and more than 500 people indoors) are also possible again - but only with a permit. A corresponding application must be submitted to the City of Jena at least ten working days before the start of the event.
Digital contact tracing with Corona-Warn App not sufficient
For the use of offers in closed rooms, it is largely necessary to record contact details. There are a number of apps available for this purpose, such as the Luca app, which have implemented the IRIS gateway. The Corona-Warn-App is not sufficient for data collection. Alternatively, the lists to be filled out by hand are still offered.
