Corona case numbers

• Another new corona case was reported today. There are now 158 cases in Jena.
• 2 people are in inpatient treatment, 1 of them in intensive care, 3 deaths, 144 people are considered recovered, so 11 active cases

Greetings to the residents of the retirement homes

1,400 senior citizens in the city of Jena's care homes received a little weekend surprise today. A flower pot and a bookmark bring a spring greeting to the elderly residents.

The campaign was initiated and put together by Diakonie Jena, the Kulturkirche Löbstedt, the Verein Familienfreundliches Jena, two senior citizens' meeting places and the city of Jena.

At a time when social distancing is paramount, this small gift is intended to show that we care: You have given us a lot, you are not forgotten!
