Relocations possible again

Parades that cannot be postponed can be held again in Jena. They do not constitute a violation of the ban on assembly, even if more than 2 people are involved. However, all persons involved must always wear a face mask and gloves and - as far as possible - keep their distance from each other.

People who are in home quarantine or show symptoms of illness (in the last 7 days) are not allowed to help. Removal companies coming from abroad are considered to be permitted delivery traffic. They may only enter the city area for loading and unloading, must comply with all hygiene rules and wear face masks. Drivers and employees are not allowed to visit stores and stores in Jena or use public transport. This also applies to private removal helpers from abroad.

When moving from abroad, people moving here must immediately go into domestic quarantine for 14 days. The regulations of the Thuringian Ordinance on Quarantine Measures and its supplement by the Jena General Decree must be observed. Relocations of persons who are in quarantine require an exceptional permit, which must be applied for at corona@jena.de.

No daycare and after-school fees in May

As it is still not possible to attend daycare centers and after-school care centers, the city of Jena will not charge any fees for the period of closure in May in accordance with Section 3 (5) sentence 2 of the daycare center fee statutes and the cabinet resolution of 26 March. This will be done ex officio. An application from parents is not required. Parents are requested to refrain from contacting the Citizens' and Family Services Department with inquiries on this subject for the time being. There will also be no direct debits for set daycare or after-school care fees. Any changes can be made through the emergency care of the children.
