Corona situation picture Jena, 26 new cases
The Health Service reported 26 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Sunday, November 7.
On Friday, November 5, 39 cases were reported, on Saturday, November 6, 59 new infections.
Background on the incidence of infection
The number of infected people in the retirement home affected by the outbreak has continued to rise. Tests are still ongoing. No severe cases of the infection have been reported.
In the meantime, an isolated case has occurred in another retirement home. Investigations and further testing are currently underway.
Follow-up cases have been reported from the Spatzennest daycare center.
