Corona situation in Jena: 85 new infections

The Health Service reported 85 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Tuesday, November 23.

There is currently no new information on retirement homes. In this context, we would like to point out that according to the Infection Protection Act, the 1G rule now applies in retirement homes. This stipulates that visitors and staff must be tested regardless of their vaccination status.

Situation in the specialist health service

Cases can still not be processed on a daily basis. Staff are trying to ensure that the necessary documents are sent to infected persons and contact persons as soon as possible. However, delays are to be expected.
