Christmas trees for a good cause

Christiane Klimsch and Sebastian Haubner from the Hospice and Palliative Foundation were delighted toreceive a donation check for 500 euros on Thursday morning.

The funds were provided by Kommunalservice Jena. In return, the KSJ received four trees, which Katrin Höckrich and Christopher Helbig selectedfor the administration buildings and the recycling centers.

The hospice was able to cut and collect the trees itself from the Geier-Lumpzig fruit estate for resale. Christmas trees for private use can also be purchased for a good cause at Paul-Schneider-Straße 5 (parking lot) until Saturday. There will also be mulled wine and cookies from the Initiative Innenstadt Jena.
