Corona situation in Jena: 50 new infections on Sunday
The Health Service reported 50 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Sunday, December 19.
On Friday, December 17, 130 cases were reported and on Saturday, December 18, a further 164.
Due to the delay in reporting by the RKI software, a total of 3 deaths could only be entered at the end of the week, and a further death was added on Friday.
All four people were over 75 years old.

A single case of infection has occurred in a retirement home.
Vaccination campaign
In the municipal vaccination centers AbbeCampus and Volkshaus, 3,355 people were vaccinated last week, including 682 children under 12 years of age since Thursday.
