Corona situation in Jena: 191 new infections

On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, the Health Service reported 191 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).

Background to the case history

• New infections were reported from 2 school daycare centers and 9 daycare centers.
• The outbreak is continuing to spread in facilities run by one provider. The public health department is still busy evaluating the tests.
