Corona situation in Jena: 157 new infections
On Monday, February 28, 2022, 157 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were transmitted to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.
As of today, the new calculation methods of the Thuringian early warning system apply. According to this, Jena is in the basic level, as both the hospitalization incidence and the Thuringia-wide ITS occupancy rate are below 12%.
Background to the case history
New infections were reported from 15 schools and 6 daycare centers.
5 retirement homes and one social institution reported infections. Further case investigations are now underway.
