Corona situation in Jena: 604 new infections

On March 16, 2022, 604 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.

Around 450 cases are currently unprocessed.

Background to the case history

New infections were reported from 13 schools and 16 daycare centers.

Note on the start of the order

As we often receive questions: The date of the positive PCR test is considered to be the start of the infection for the purposes of orders (isolation or quarantine). The onset of symptoms is not taken into account.
