Corona situation in Jena: 477 new infections
On Wednesday, March 23, 477 new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were reported to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) by the Health Service.
Around 800 cases have not yet been processed.
Background information on the cases
New infections were reported from 9 schools and 10 daycare centers.
Infections are currently active in eight social facilities, including several outbreaks.
Quarantine obligation still in place
Even if only the infected persons are sent into isolation in schools and daycare centers, the quarantine obligation for children within the family still applies. For example, if a child is a contact person and has not been fully vaccinated, they may not be sent to the facility.
Municipal buildings open to visitors wearing FFP2 masks
The 3-G rule no longer applies in the municipal administration buildings. Visitors only have access with an FFP2 mask. A mask will be handed out if required.
