NEW ROADWORKS / ROAD CLOSURES
Traffic circle
Alexander-Puschkin-Platz
- Type: Complete closure
- Duration: 19.04. - 06.05.2022
- Reason: Reconstruction of the traffic circle
- A detour will be signposted. It is advisable to drive well around the closed area.
Ziegenhainer Straße
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: House number 7a
- Start: 19.04. - 31.12.2022
- Reason: New house construction
- Details: Properties in the direction of Burgweg can be reached. Passers-by can pass the construction site.
EXISTING CONSTRUCTION SITES
Blochmannstraße
- Type: Complete closure
- Duration: until 17.06.2022
- Reason: Renewal of the supply lines
- Details: A detour will be set up on site.
Brändströmstraße and Gabelsbergerstraße
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: Gabelsbergerstraße and Brändströmstraße intersection area
- Duration: until 17.06.2022
- Reason: Renewal of the sewer pipes
- Details: Brändströmstraße Hnr. 13 to 20 - coming from Karl-Günther-Straße - will be signposted as a dead end. The lower part of Brändströmstraße is required as a storage area. Pedestrians can pass the construction site safely.
"Bridge in front of the Neutor"
- Type: Complete closure
- Duration: until 30.04.2022
- Reason: New construction of the bridge
- Traffic will be diverted as follows:
- out of town via Erbertstraße - Ernst-Haeckel-Straße
- into the city via Ernst-Haeckel-Straße - Schillerstraße - Teichgraben
- Details: Underpass to Paradies fully closed - detour signposted
- Attention: From 19.04. - 06.05.2022 the traffic circle Alexander-Puschkin-Platz will be fully closed. During the closure period, the traffic circle will be restored as it was before. A detour will be signposted. It is advisable to drive well around the closed area
Buchenweg
- Type: Closure on one side
- Location: House number 34
- Duration: until 12.07.2022
- Reason: Construction site installation for the conversion of the adjacent school
- Details: Waiting is compulsory for vehicles meeting in the carriageway area.
Dorfstraße ( Jena Wogau )
- Type: Complete closure in 3 construction phases
- Duration: until 29.07.2022
- 1st construction phase: Dorfstraße between the Wilhelm-Hauff-Weg / Dorfstraße / Im Tiefen Weg intersection
- 2nd construction phase: Dorfstraße in the area of the fork in Tiefen Weg
- 3rd construction phase: Dorfstraße from B7 to the junction with Im Tiefen Weg
- Pedestrians can pass the closures safely.
Dornburger Straße
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: from the junction with Friedrich-Wolf-Straße to the junction with An der Eule
- Duration: until 30.06.2022
- Reason: Civil engineering works
- Details: A detour will be signposted. Pedestrians can pass the construction site safely.
Hornstraße
- Type: Complete closure
- Duration: until 22.04.2022
- Reason: Renovation of the "Dornröschen" daycare center
- Details: Pedestrians can pass.
Karl-Liebknecht-Straße
- Type: Complete closure
- Place: House number 34 - 44
- Duration: until 30.04.2022
- Reason: Civil engineering works
- Details: Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite sidewalk.
Karl-Marx-Allee
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: western part of Karl-Marx-Allee incl. traffic circle
- Start: 11 - 29.04.2022
- Reason: Road renewal
- Details: A detour will be signposted on site.
Kollegiengasse
- Type: New installation of the full closure
- Location:between Nonnenplan and Neue Mitte
- Duration: until 29.04.2022
- Reason: Civil engineering works
- Details: A detour is signposted. Access to Eichplatz will be possible. Following this full closure, civil engineering work will be carried out along the new center. This may result in minor temporary restrictions on the PP Eichplatz. The overall construction project is scheduled for completion on 25.05.2022.
Kunitzer Straße - Jenzigweg underpass
- Type: Complete closure
- Duration: until 29.04.2022
- Reason: Laying of supply lines for the adjacent "Erlenhöfe" construction project
- Details: A detour for pedestrians is signposted.
Max-Großmann-Straße
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: House number 1
- Start: 07 - 22.04.2022
- Reason: Civil engineering works
- Details: The adjacent properties can be accessed via the adjacent road network. Pedestrians can pass the construction site.
Nollendorfer Platz / Dornburger Straße
- Type: Complete closure
- Start: 11 - 22.04.2022
- Reason: Adjustment of the points control system and renovation of the track bed
- Details: A detour will be signposted on site. Cyclists will be allowed to pass in the north-south direction.
Oberaue
- Type:Complete closure
- Location: House number 20 to the Lichtenhainer bridge
- Duration: until 22.04.2022
- Reason: Work on the high-pressure gas pipeline
- Details: The running hall and adjacent sports fields can be accessed. Access in the direction of Lichtenhainer Brücke is not possible. A corresponding detour for pedestrians and cyclists is signposted.
We would like to take this opportunity to clearly point out that moving or removing traffic signs and traffic facilities constitutes a dangerous interference with road traffic. The above-mentioned area is controlled. Traffic signs (e.g. detour signs) are for orientation purposes and must remain in place.
Rautal
- Type: Half-sided closure
- Location: Junction of Ottogerd-Mühlmann-Straße to Erich-Kuithan-Straße + closure of pedestrian bridge over Steinbach
- Duration: until 08.04.2022
- Reason: Civil engineering works
- Details: Traffic is regulated by traffic lights. For pedestrians, an emergency pedestrian route will be set up to Erich-Kuithan-Straße so that the construction site can be passed safely. It is not possible to use the adjacent pedestrian bridge over the Steinbach due to a full closure.
Schillerstraße / main entrance Goethe-Galerie
- Type: Half-sided closure in the direction of the post office
- Duration: until 22.04.2022
- Reason: Civil engineering works
- Detour via Holzmarkt is signposted.
Schützenhofstraße
- Type: Half-sided closure
- Location: House number 74-78
- Duration: until 01.07.2022
- Reason: Construction site installation for the conversion of the adjacent apartment block
- Details: Pedestrians can pass safely.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Gerbergasse
- Type: Closure of residents' parking lot
- Estimated start: from 25.04.2022
- Reason: Construction site installation
- Details: Alternative residents' parking spaces have been set up in Wiesenstraße from the Am Saaleufer access road. These can be used immediately.
Oberaue
- Type: Complete closure
- Location: From the Saaleeingang Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld entrance to just before the Lichtenhainer Brücke bridge
- Start: 25.04.2022 - 31.03.2023
- Reason: Work on the stands in the stadium
- Details: The Lichtenhain Bridge is not affected by the closure. A detour for pedestrians and cyclists will be signposted.
