Workshop on the situation in paradise

The Paradies 21 steering group is currently working on a concept to bring about a lasting and noticeable easing of the situation in Paradies this year. The creation of new open space potential that can be used permanently for the independent scene and, in particular, the issue of disturbance of the peace for residents is to be addressed and thus improved overall.

At the beginning of June, a workshop phase was launched to develop a concept for a "night-time commissioner", which will incorporate input from the administration, (socio)cultural representatives, restaurateurs, event organizers and local residents. The acceptance and participation of residents and the public play a decisive role. Respectful communication between all those involved and the involvement of all interest groups are very important.

We therefore cordially invite all interested residents to the workshop for the development of the concept for night culture representation. The workshop will be accompanied by Kordula Kunert (cultural manager at LiveKommbinat Leipzig e.V.). After a thematic introduction and a discussion about the wishes and needs of local residents, ideas for night culture representation will be collected at four themed tables .
