On German unity and change in Europe

Together with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, the city of Jena is applying for the "Future Center for European Transformation and German Unity", which is to be awarded to a location in eastern Germany in a competition. But what do German unity and transformation mean from a scientific and social perspective? And what are the focal points of the transformation research that has been conducted at Friedrich Schiller University for many years? This will be presented and discussed at a symposium organized by the University of Jena on 20.06.2022 from 16:00 to 20:00 in the Rosensäle (Fürstengraben 27) with exemplary research results.

The interested public is cordially invited to the symposium "European Transformation and German Unity: Societies - Experiences - Interpretations". Once again, they will have the opportunity to actively participate in and support Jena's application for the Future Center.
