Pond in Drackendorf Park contaminated

An unknown substance is currently causing wild and native fish to suffer. The water is discolored grey. The Jena fire department, which was called out, was only able to cordon off the area after consultation with the water maintenance association.

It is not possible to fish or relocate the animals. A sample of the contaminated water was taken.

Once again, we would like to point out that releasing exotic animals into the wild and contaminating bodies of water causes major problems. With such actions, the death of the animals is taken into account.
