Lantern processions on St. Martin's Day

On St. Martin's Day tomorrow (Friday, 11.11.2022), numerous children will once again be out and about with their lanterns throughout the city of Jena. The traditional and much-loved processions are organized by schools and kindergartens in particular. Some of them are accompanied by St. Martin's actors on horseback.

We ask all road users to be particularly careful, considerate and patient. There may be occasional waiting times, e.g. when the groups pass through streets.
