Stadtrodaer Straße

• Tree maintenance work has been completed.

NEW ROADWORKS / ROAD CLOSURES

B7 Isserstedter Grund (bend)

• Type: Closure on one side
• Duration: 25.11.202, in the period 8:30 - 12:00 o'clock
• Reason: Connection joints will be filled during the construction period.
• Details: Amobile traffic light regulates the traffic.

Göschwitzer Straße 1

• Type: Half-side closure + full sidewalk closure
• Duration: 28.11. - 23.12.2022
• Reason: Laying of media
• Details: Pedestrians will be diverted to the other side of the pavement at safe crossing points in advance

EXISTING CONSTRUCTION SITES

Construction work at the final stop in Erlanger Allee / Carolinenstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 16.12.2022
• Details: Possible timetable changes for rail replacement services can be found at www.nahverkehr-jena.de/fahrplan.(link is external) A detour for individual traffic is not necessary for the time being.

Buchenweg

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: House number 34
• Duration: until 13.01.2023
• Reason: Construction site installation for the renovation of the adjacent school
• Details: Waiting is mandatory for meeting traffic.

Dornburger Straße

• Type: Closure on one side
• Location: At house number 6
• Duration: until 22.12.2022
• Reason: Laying of media
• Details: Dornburger Straße will remain a one-way street into the city. Out-of-town traffic will be diverted via Spitzweidenweg and Nollendorfer Straße. Pedestrians will be diverted to the other side of the road at safe crossing points in advance.

Forstweg

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: At house number 35a
• Duration: until 31.12.2022
• Reason: New construction of a residential building

Fürstengraben

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: from the junction with Saalbahnhofstraße to the junction with Leutragraben
• Duration: until 16.12.2022
• Reason: Media relocation
• Details: Fürstengraben will remain a one-way street out of town. Inbound traffic will be diverted. You can walk past the construction site.

Gerbergasse

• Type: Closure of residents' parking lot
• Start: 25.04.2022
• Reason: Construction site installation
• Details: Alternative residents' parking spaces have been set up in Wiesenstraße from the Am Saaleufer access road. These can be used immediately.

Julius-Schaxel-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 31.12.2022
• Reason: Road expansion incl. pipe laying
• Details: You can walk past the construction site. There will be 3 construction phases. Construction phases 2 + 3 will not take place until 2023.

Krautgasse

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: At house number 5
• Duration: until 02.12.2022
• Reason: Accident (fault in the district heating pipeline)
• Details: The construction site can be passed on foot and by bike. Access to the underground car park there is possible.
  Motorized private traffic can bypass the full closure via the following route:

Lessingstraße

• Details: You can walk and cycle past the construction site.

Lobeda-Altstadt - Neulobeda - Drackendorf

• Type: Restrictions
• Duration: until approx. 31.12.2022
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cable

Eastern Löbdergraben

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: Height Saalstraße
• Duration: extended until 02.12.2022
• Reason: Installation of a construction site exit
• Details: You can walk past the construction site.

Max-Gräfe-Gasse

• Type: Partial closure
• Location: Corner of Kreuzgasse
• Duration: until 31.03.2023
• Reason: Construction site installation for house conversion
• Details: You can walk and cycle past the construction site.

Oberaue

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: From the Saaleeingang Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld entrance to just before the Lichtenhainer Brücke bridge
• Duration: until 31.03.2023
• Reason: Work on the stadium grandstand
• Details: The Lichtenhain Bridge is not affected by the closure. A detour for pedestrians and cyclists is signposted.

Oberaue from the southern access road to the main access road at Stadtrodaer Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 31.12.2022
• Reason: Fundamental expansion of the access road, expansion and widening of the main cycle path connection
• Detour: A designated detour route will be set up for cyclists heading into and out of the city. The cycle routes run via Wöllnitzer Straße and Burgauer Weg.
• There will be restrictions on access to the Südbad/Schleichersee swimming pool, the beach bar and the adjacent sports facilities: The facilities will be accessible from the main stadium access road via a temporary footpath. This footpath can only be used on foot - cyclists must dismount.
  Guests of the Schleichersee and the adjacent sports facilities as well as the traffic school with cars can use the parking lot in the Oberaue directly next to the main access road. This is only not possible when FC Carl Zeiss Jena is playing at home. A planning board will be set up at the main entrance to the Oberaue so that road users are informed.

Stadtrodaer Straße

• Location: Between Goldberg tunnel and Bäckergasse traffic lights
• Reason: Construction of the cycle bypass

Thomas-Münzer-Weg

• Type: Full closure
• Location House number 4
• Duration: until 30.06.2023
• Reason: Construction of a residential building
• Details: The full closure is indicated by means of planning boards from both Jägerbergstraße and Max-Gräfe-Gasse. The restricted area must be driven around extensively. The roadworks can be passed on foot and by bike.

Wöllnitz and Ammerbach

• Type: temporary restrictions
• Duration: until approx. 28.02.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables

Change to the one-way street layout in Unterdorfstraße and Wöllnitzer Oberweg

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: Unterdorfstraße 2
• Duration: until 31.12.2022
• Reason: Construction work
• Details: The one-way street layout will be changed in the above-mentioned streets. In Unterdorfstraße, it will then be possible to drive out of the city and in Wöllnitzer Oberweg, it will be possible to drive into the city. Cyclists will be able to ride against the one-way street in Wöllnitzer Oberweg. Signage will be erected at the start of the construction work to raise road users' awareness.

Ziegenhainer Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Place: House number House number 7a
• Duration: until 31.12.2022
• Reason: New house construction
• Details: Properties in the direction of Burgweg can be reached via this road. You can pass the construction site on foot.

To the Ziskauer valley (Lützeroda)

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 21.12.2022
• Reason : Civil engineering works (sewage; drinking water)
• Details: A detour will be signposted on site.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Closure of the Goldberg tunnel for cyclists

• Details: From the middle/end of November, the Goldberg Tunnel will be undergoing emergency refurbishment for 6 weeks with a full closure. After that, it will only be open to pedestrians. For cyclists, a temporary cycle path will be built along Stadtrodaer Straße to the Bäckergasse traffic lights. This situation will continue until the tunnel is completely rebuilt, for which planning will begin.
