Here is the current roadworks report for the 3rd calendar week of 2023.

Unless otherwise indicated, you can pass the construction sites on foot or by bike.

FINISHED CONSTRUCTION SITES

NEW CONSTRUCTION SITES / CLOSURES

Eichplatz

• Type: Closure of half of the parking lot
• Duration: 17.01.2023, 06:00 - 18:00 hrs

Erfurter Straße

• Type: Closure on one side
• Location: At house no. 11, southern lane (towards the city) of the junction in the direction of August-Bebel-Straße
• Duration: 16.01. to 20.01.2023
• Details: The adjacent sidewalk will be closed from 16.01.2023 to 27.01.2023. A detour for pedestrians will be signposted.

Stadtrodaer Straße

• Type: temporary closure of one lane
• Location: between the main access road to the stadium and the south access road
• Duration: 17.01.2023, 09:00 - 15:00 hrs
• Reason: Surveying work
• Details: temporary roadworks

EXISTING ROADWORKS

Buchenweg

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location House number 34
• Duration: probablyuntil 13.01.2023
• Reason: Construction site installation for the conversion of the adjacent school
• Details: Waiting is compulsory for vehicles meeting in the carriageway area.

Julius-Schaxel-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 31.03.2023
• Reason: Road expansion incl. pipe laying
• Details: The construction site can be passed on foot. There will be 3 construction phases.

Lessingstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: House number 1-6
• Duration: until 28.02.2023
• Reason: Laying of district heating pipe
• Details: The area can be passed on foot and by bike
• Addition: During the winter break (start 19.12.2022 - end not yet known), Lessingstraße will be passable by one-way traffic.

Lobeda-Altstadt - Neulobeda - Drackendorf

• Type: Restrictions
• Duration: until 24.02.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cable

Max-Gräfe-Gasse

• Type: Partial closure
• Location: Corner of Kreuzgasse
• Duration: until 31.03.2023
• Reason: Construction site installation for house conversion
• Details: The construction site can be passed.

Oberaue

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: From the Saaleeingang Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld entrance to just before the Lichtenhainer Brücke bridge
• Duration: until 31.03.2023
• Reason: Work on the stadium grandstand
• Details: The Lichtenhain Bridge is not affected by the closure. A detour for pedestrians and cyclists is signposted.

Thomas-Münzer-Weg

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: House number 4
• Duration: until 30.06.2023
• Reason: Construction of a residential building
• Details: The full closure is indicated by means of planning boards from both Jägerbergstraße and Max-Gräfe-Gasse. The restricted area must be driven around extensively. The construction site can be safely passed on foot and by bike.

Wöllnitz and Ammerbach

• Type: temporary restrictions
• Duration: until approx. 28.02.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cable

Zum Ziskauer Tal (Lützeroda)

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 28.04.2023
• Reason : Civil engineering works (sewage; drinking water)
• Details: A detour will be signposted on site.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Fürstengraben

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Duration: 23.01. to 03.02.2023
• Location: Junction with Bibliotheksplatz to before the junction with Johannisplatz
• Reason: Work on the sidewalk
• Details: A one-way street will be set up. Inbound traffic will be diverted (see detour plan). Pedestrians will be guided safely past the roadworks.
