FINISHED CONSTRUCTION SITES

Leipziger Straße

• Complete closure ended.

NEW ROADWORKS / CLOSURES

Maua level crossing

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: 22.02.2023 (6:00 am) to 26.02.2023 ( 12:00 pm)
• Reason: Work on the track system and the level crossing
• Details: During this time, the level crossing is not passable for any road users. Pedestrians and cyclists can use a nearby tunnel and will be diverted accordingly.

Lindenhöhe

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: 20.02.2023 to 05.05.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering works
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Nollendorfer road

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: between Thomas-Mann-Straße and Dornburger Straße
• Duration: 23.02.2023 to 24.02.2023
• Reason : Tree felling work
• Details: Pedestrians will be able to pass safely on one of the two sides of the sidewalk

Oberaue

• Type: Closure of partial areas
• Location: From the main stadium access road to Roland-Ducke-Weg
• Duration: 20.02.2023 to 04.08.2023
• Reason: Expansion of the road and ancillary facilities
• Details: Access to the Oberaue will always be possible. In the first construction phase, work is currently underway from the main stadium access road to just before the junction with Roland-Ducke-Weg. The construction site can be passed, but obstructions are to be expected. Cyclists can bypass the construction site safely and quickly. A detour has been set up and signposted for this purpose.

EXISTING ROADWORKS

Buchenweg

• Type: Closure on one side
• Location: House number 34
• Duration: until 30.07.2023
• Reason: Construction site installation for the conversion of the adjacent school
• Details: Waiting is compulsory for vehicles meeting in the carriageway area.

Fürstengraben

• Type: Closure on one side
• Location: Junction with Bibliotheksplatz up to the junction with Johannisplatz
• Duration: until 24.02.2023
• Reason: Work on the sidewalk
• Details: A one-way street will be set up. Inbound traffic will be diverted (see appendix for detour plan). Pedestrians will be guided safely past the construction site.

Goldberg tunnel

• Type: Full closure for cyclists and pedestrians
• Duration: until 28.02.2023 (17:00)
• Reason: Safety measures in the tunnel
• Details: A detour is signposted. Pedestrians and cyclists please use the newly created footpath/cycle path.

Julius-Schaxel-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: Local traffic entrance to the Göschwitzer Straße junction (Fiebig car dealership)
• Duration: until 31.03.2023
• Reason: Road expansion incl. pipe laying
• Details: The construction site can be passed on foot. There will be 3 construction phases. Construction phases 2 + 3 will take place in 2023.

Keßlerstraße

• Type: Temporary restrictions
• Location: Entrance to local traffic to Keßlerstraße junction
• Duration: until 28.02.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables
• Details: The temporary restrictions are on the sidewalk and lane.

Lessingstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: House number 8-10
• Duration: until 06.04.2023
• Reason: Laying of drinking water pipe
• Details: The closure can be bypassed via Fröbelstieg and Helmholtzweg.

Lobeda-Altstadt - Neulobeda - Drackendorf

• Type: Temporary restrictions
• Duration: until 24.02.2022
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cable

Max-Gräfe-Gasse

• Type: Partial closure
• Location: Corner of Kreuzgasse
• Duration: until 31.03.2023
• Reason: Construction site installation for house conversion
• Details: The construction site can be passed.

Oberaue

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: From the Saaleeingang Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld entrance to just before the Lichtenhainer Brücke bridge
• Duration: until 31.03.2023
• Reason: Work on the stadium grandstand
• Details: The Lichtenhain Bridge is not affected by the closure. A detour for pedestrians and cyclists is signposted.

Thomas-Münzer-Weg

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: House number 4
• Duration: until 30.06.2023
• Reason: Construction of a residential building
• Details: The full closure will be indicated by means of planning boards from both Jägerbergstraße and Max-Gräfe-Gasse. The restricted area must be driven around extensively. The construction site can be safely passed on foot and by bike.

To the Ziskauer Valley (Lützeroda)

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 28.04.2023
• Reason : Civil engineering works (sewage; drinking water)
• Details: A detour will be signposted on site.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Closure of level crossings

During the closures of the level crossings, there will be full closures so that no road users can pass the level crossing.

Bridge road

• Type: Full closure
• Duration: 07.03.2023 (6:00 a.m.) to 10.03.2023 (05:00 a.m.)
• Reason: Work on the track system and the level crossing
• Details: The tunnel near the Am Steinbach level crossing serves as a detour for pedestrians and cyclists. A detour will be signposted. The detour for motorized individual traffic is via the street Am Steinbach.

Am Steinbach

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: 10.03.2023 (8:00 a.m.) to 15.03.2023 (06:00 a.m.)
• Reason: Work on the track system and the level crossing
• Details: The adjacent tunnel serves as a detour for pedestrians and cyclists. A detour will be signposted. The detour for motorized private traffic is via Brückenstraße.

Mühlenstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: 16.03.2023 (8:00 a.m.) to 17.03.2023 (06:00 a.m.) and 25.03.2023 (6:00 a.m.) to 26.03.2023 (6:00 a.m.)
• Reason: Work on the track system and the level crossing
• Details: The tunnel at Rasenmühleninsel serves as a detour for pedestrians and cyclists.
