Municipal funeral home in Jena moves to Paradiesstraße

The municipal funeral home will move into its new domicile at Paradiesstraße 3 on March 29.

In the villa opposite the Karl-Volkmar-Stoy-Schule, the bereaved will find a particularly dignified ambience. The house has been completely renovated and remodeled in recent months. In the bright rooms at Paradiesstrasse 3, the bereavement services - such as the monthly "Café of Hope" - can be continued in a new setting.

The building is also a special place for Kommunalservice Jena due to its history. The builder of the neoclassical villa, architect Karl Timler, also designed the ceremonial hall at the northern cemetery. The extensive renovation thus also honors an important citizen of the city of Jena.

The outdoor facilities will be redesigned in the course of the year. Of course, customer parking spaces are also available on the site. You can reach the funeral home by car from the parking lot at the bus station or via Paradiesstraße.
