• Sliding cross has been replaced.

• Staircase demolition and new construction completed.

Fiber optic expansion in Ziegenhain

• Type: Temporary closures
• Duration: 23.10. - 30.11.2023
• Reason: Continuation of civil engineering work to lay fiber optic cables

EXISTING CONSTRUCTION SITES

Am Erlkönig

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: up to the Talstein nursery
• Duration: until 30.12.2023
• Reason: Development of the local heating network for the emerging "Erlenhöfe" residential area
• Details: Access via the Saaleradweg is possible again. The detour for garden residents is via Kunitz.

Am Steinborn

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: At house number 130
• Duration: until 27.10.2023
• Reason: Energy renovation of a house
• Details: Pedestrians and cyclists can pass the area safely.

B7

• Type: Closure on one side
• Location: between the junction Vor der Gembdenmühle and the Jena town entrance sign
• Duration: until 17.11.2023
• Reason: Remaining work on the road and the adjacent area
• Details: Traffic will be guided safely past the construction site by means of a mobile traffic light system

Dammstraße

• Location: Magnus-Poser-Straße to Schenkstraße (1st construction phase)
• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 30.05.2024
• Reason: Laying of pipes and renewal of the road surface
• Details: The construction work is divided into two construction phases. Pedestrians can pass the construction site safely. A detour for private traffic will be signposted on site.

2nd construction phase: Schenkstraße to Charlottenstraße

Drackendorf (Am Goethepark and Am König)

• Type: Temporary restrictions
• Duration: until 01.12.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables

Erlanger Allee - cycle path connection between Lobeda-Ost and Lobeda-West

• Type: Closure of partial areas and path connections
• Location: between Theobald-Renner-Str. and Kastanienstraße junction and in the opposite direction
• Duration: until 29.02.2024
• Reason: Construction of a cycle path connection
• Details: In the first construction phase, the carriageway will be closed on one side and the pedestrian crossing at Platanenstraße to Paul-Schneider-Straße will be fully closed.
• Attention: From 25.10. to 30.10.2023 the ramp from Stadtrodaer Straße towards Lobeda Ost will be closed. The detour is via: Emil-Wölk-Straße/ Fritz-Ritter-Straße/ Stauffenbergstraße/ Matthias-Domaschk-Straße

Ernst-Pfeiffer-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 30.11.2023
• Reason: Work on the drinking water pipeline
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot

Grenzstraße

• Type: Closure on one side
• Location: At house number 2-4
• Duration: until 01.03.2024
• Reason: Construction of an apartment building
• Details: Pedestrians will be guided safely past the construction site with the help of an emergency pedestrian route

Kunitz

• Details: There will be restrictions in the areas of Lange Straße, Kirchstraße, An der Schule, An der Mühle, Kunitzer Hintergasse, Auf der Gebind, Kunitzburgweg and Im Linsenland.

• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cable
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Lobeda East and Illmnitz

• Type: Temporary half-sided closure + footpath closure
• Duration: until 24.11.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cable
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Löbichauer Straße

• Location: lower Löbichauer Straße (Karl-Liebknecht-Straße to Eschenplatz)

Naumburger Straße

• Type: Closure on one side

• Reason: Conversion of the streetcar stop + installation of track replacement
• Details: During the construction period, a one-way street will be installed from the Zitzmannstraße junction to Altenburger Straße. The one-way street is passable in the direction of the city center. The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Nollendorfer Straße

• Location: between Thomas-Mann-Straße and Dornburger Straße

• Reason: Major road renovation

2x Oberaue

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: From the Saaleeingang Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld entrance to just before the Lichtenhainer Brücke bridge
• Duration: until 23.12.2023
• Reason: Work on the stadium grandstand
• Details: The Lichtenhain Bridge is not affected by the closure. A detour for pedestrians and cyclists is signposted.

• Type: Closure of partial areas
• Location: From the main stadium access road to Roland-Ducke-Weg
• Duration: until 30.11.2023
• Reason: Expansion of the road and ancillary facilities
• Details: The construction site can be passed, but obstructions are to be expected. Cyclists can bypass the construction site safely and quickly. A detour has been set up and signposted for this purpose.

• ADDITION: In the area of the main access road toOberaue, one outbound lane on Stadtrodaer Straße will be closed due to construction work . The closure will take place from Monday to Friday. Road users who are traveling out of town and want to turn right into Oberaue will first be diverted on Stadtrodaer Straße via Jenaplan - Wöllnitzer Straße and Am Stadion to Oberaue.

2x Rautal

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: from the junction with Erich-Kuithan-Straße to the junction with Ottoger-Mühlmann-Straße
• Duration: until 13.12.2023
• Reason: Asphalt work + construction of new sidewalk

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: up to the Kaufland delivery entrance
• Duration: until 30.10.2023
• Reason: Pavement renovation
• Details: A detour will be signposted on site.

Remderoda

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: Road in the direction of Remderoda
• Duration: until 30.05.2024
• Reason: Laying of drinking water pipe
• Details: A detour via Münchenroda will be signposted.

Sandweg

• Type: Complete closure
• Place: House number 4-8
• Duration: until 24.11.2023
• Reason: Renewal of the district heating pipeline
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Schloßgasse

• Location: Main entrance to the university to the junction with Saalstraße
• Duration: until 31.10.2023
• Reason: Renewal of the sewer
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Schroeterstraße

• Location: from the junction with Strigelstraße to the junction with Am Friedensberg
• Duration: until 30.04.2024
• Reason: Fundamental expansion of the road
• Details: A second construction phase for the rest of the road is expected to follow from May 2024

Schützenhofstraße

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: from house number 101/ 103 to the junction with Naumburger Straße
• Duration: until 17.11.2023
• Reason: Renovation of the drinking water pipeline
• Details: Pedestrians will be safely diverted on site.

Stauffenbergstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: from the junction of Werner-Seelenbinder-Straße to the junction of Fregestraße
• Duration: until 25.10.2023
• Reason: Surface course renewal
• Details: The road will be fully closed in 3 construction phases. Access to the residential area is ensured. Detour signs will be set up on site.

Wiesenstraße railroad bridge

• Type: Lane closures
• Duration: probably until 27.10.2023
• Reason: Repair work on the railroad bridge
• Details: The inbound lanes must be closed. Traffic will be guided past the closure with one lane at a time.

Winzerlaer Straße

• Type: Sectional half-sided closures
• Location: in the area from Buchaer Straße to Mühlenstraße
• Duration: until 22.12.2023
• Reason: Connection changes to the Fichtlerwiesen / cable work
• Details: The construction work will be carried out in 8 construction phases at intervals of approx. 170m. Traffic will be guided alternately by means of mobile construction site traffic lights. The client is Satdtwerke Jena.

Wöllnitz

• Type: Temporary half-side closure + sidewalk closure
• Duration: until 29.12.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot
