Carl-Zeiß-Platz

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: from the junction of Ernst-Abbe-Straße / Lutherstraße to Jahnstraße / Blumenstraße

• Reason: Digital summit
• Details: The entrance to the underground parking garage at the university campus (Ernst-Abbe-Platz) is possible from Bachstraße

Carl-Zeiß-Straße

• Type: No stopping zone
• Duration: 20.11. - 01.12.2023

Announced assemblies on November 20 and 21

Due to assemblies and processions, there may be temporary traffic obstructions on 20 and 21.11.2023.

• On Monday between around 8 and 10 a.m., the Johannisplatz / Wagnergasse open space will be affected. It will not be possible to drive through Johannisplatz.
• The Carl-Zeiss-Promenade (in front of Ernst Abbe University) will be affected between around 9 and 10 am. The registered route runs from Carl-Zeiss-Promenade via Tatzendpromenade, Magdelstieg, Westbahnhofstraße, Ernst-Haeckel-Platz, Schillerstraße and Leutragraben to Johannisplatz. As it is planned that this march will take place on the footpath, there is expected to be little or no impact on road traffic.
• The march is planned to take the following route between around 10 am and 1 pm: Johannisplatz - Krautgasse - Ernst-Abbe-Platz underpass - Ernst-Abbe-Platz - streetcar underpass - Leutragraben - Teichgraben - Holzmarkt - Löbdergraben - Fürstengraben - Johannisplatz. Intermediate rallies will take place in the public areas of Ernst-Abbe-Platz, Löbdergraben in front of the main university building and Fürstengraben in front of the ThULB.
• The open space Johannisplatz / Wagnergasse will be affected between around 1pm and 3pm. It will not be possible to drive through Johannisplatz.
• From around 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m., the open area Am Pulverturm will be affected.
• On both days, rallies are planned around the Ernst Abbe monument on Carl-Zeiß-Platz from 8 am to 6.30 pm, followed by a silent vigil at night.

Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: Direction of travel Am Anger
• Duration: 20.11. - 01.12.2023
• Reason: Relocation of telecom route

Construction project cycle path Erlanger Allee

• Type: Temporary restrictions and closures
• Duration: 22. + 23.11.2023
• Reason: Binder installation
• Details: 3 traffic phases will be set up. After completion of the binder installation, the surface course will be installed from 24 - 28.11.2023. One day per construction phase is planned for this.

1. Phase: Traffic along Erlanger Allee will be two-lane.
2. Phase: Ramp crossing fully closed, detour via Karl-Marx-Allee traffic circle.
3. Phase: Matthias-Domaschk-Straße closed, detour via Stauffenbergstraße.

Am Erlkönig

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: up to Talstein nursery
• Duration: until 30.12.2023
• Reason: Development of the local heating network for the emerging "Erlenhöfe" residential area
• Details: Access via the Saaleradweg is possible again. The detour for garden residents is via Kunitz.

B7

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: between the junction Vor der Gembdenmühle and the Jena town entrance sign
• Duration: until 21.12.2023
• Reason: Road surface renovation incl. sidewalk construction and fiber optic expansion
• Details: Traffic will be guided safely past the construction site by means of a mobile traffic light system

Dammstraße

• Location: Magnus-Poser-Straße to Schenkstraße (1st construction phase)
• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 30.05.2024
• Reason: Laying of pipes and renewal of the road surface
• Details: The construction work is divided into two construction phases. Pedestrians can pass the construction site safely. A detour for private traffic will be signposted on site.

Drackendorf (Am Goethepark and Am König)

• Type: Temporary restrictions
• Duration: until 01.12.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables

Erlanger Allee - cycle path connection between Lobeda-Ost and Lobeda-West

• Type: Closure of partial areas and path connections
• Location: between Theobald-Renner-Str. and Kastanienstraße junction and in the opposite direction
• Duration: until 29.02.2024
• Reason: Construction of a cycle path connection
• Details: In the first construction phase, the roadway will be closed on one side and the pedestrian crossing at Platanenstraße to Paul-Schneider-Straße will be fully closed.
• Attention: From 07.11. to 24.11.2023, the road surface in the Karl-Marx-Allee/Theobald-Renner-Straße area will be milled off and repaved. there will be different construction phases. The signage will be adapted. Any necessary detour will be signposted on site.

Ernst-Pfeiffer-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 30.11.2023
• Reason: Work on the drinking water pipeline
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot

Grenzstraße

• Type: Closure on one side
• Location: At house number 2-4
• Duration: until 01.03.2024
• Reason: Construction of an apartment building
• Details: Pedestrians will be guided safely past the construction site with the help of an emergency pedestrian route

Kunitz

• Type: Temporary restrictions
• Duration: probably until 20.12.2023
• Reason: Continuation of civil engineering work for fiber optic expansion
• Details: There will be restrictions in the areas of Lange Straße, Kirchstraße, An der Schule, An der Mühle, Kunitzer Hintergasse, Auf der Gebind, Kunitzburgweg and Im Linsenland.

Lobeda old town

• Details: The closed area is located behind the junction Am Mühlberg upwards in the direction of Schottplatz.

Naumburger Straße

• Type: Closure on one side
• Duration: until 22.12.2023
• Reason: Conversion of the streetcar stop + installation of track replacement
• Details: During the construction period, a one-way street will be installed from the Zitzmannstraße junction to Altenburger Straße. The one-way street is passable in the direction of the city center. The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Nollendorfer Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: between Thomas-Mann-Straße and Dornburger Straße
• Duration: until 30.12.2023
• Reason: Major road renovation

2x Oberaue

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: From the Saaleeingang Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld entrance to just before the Lichtenhainer Brücke bridge
• Duration: until 23.12.2023
• Reason: Work on the stadium grandstand
• Details: The Lichtenhain Bridge is not affected by the closure. A detour for pedestrians and cyclists is signposted.

• Type: Closure of partial areas
• Location: From the main stadium access road to Roland-Ducke-Weg
• Duration: until 30.11.2023
• Reason: Expansion of the road and ancillary facilities
• Details: The construction site can be passed, but obstructions are to be expected. Cyclists can bypass the construction site safely and quickly. A detour has been set up and signposted for this purpose.

• ADDITION: In the area of the main access road toOberaue, the right-turn lane out of town on Stadtrodaer Straße will be closed due to construction work.road users traveling out of town and wanting to turn right into Oberaue will first be diverted on Stadtrodaer Straße via: Jenaplan - Wöllnitzer Straße - Am Stadium to Oberaue.

Rautal

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: from the junction with Erich-Kuithan-Straße to the junction with Ottoger-Mühlmann-Straße
• Duration: until 13.12.2023
• Reason: Asphalt work + construction of new sidewalk
• Details: The access road to Am Rosenhang remains closed. Residents must drive via the corridor path.
• Addition: Access to Erich-Kuithan-Straße is only permitted for bus traffic!

Remderoda

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: Road in the direction of Remderoda
• Duration: until 30.05.2024
• Reason: Laying of drinking water pipe
• Details: A detour via Münchenroda will be signposted.

Sandweg

• Type: Complete closure
• Place: House number 4-8
• Duration: until 24.11.2023
• Reason: Renewal of the district heating pipeline
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Schroeterstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: from the junction with Strigelstraße to the junction with Am Friedensberg
• Duration: until 30.04.2024
• Reason: Fundamental expansion of the road
• Details: A second construction phase for the rest of the road is expected to follow from May 2024

Thomas-Müntzer-Weg

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: House number 4
• Duration: until 01.12.2023
• Reason: Media connection for the new building
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Winzerlaer Straße

• Location: in the area from Buchaer Straße to Mühlenstraße
