Christmas campaign for children in the Ukrainian twin town of Brovary
Together with Kindersprachbrücke Jena, Fanprojekt Jena, the initiative "Ukrainer in Jena" and the campaign "Blau-Gelb-Weiße Weihnachten" by "FCC-Fans helfen", the city of Jena has launched a donation campaign. From 1.12.23 to 15.12.23, citizens can hand in Christmas presents for children in the Ukrainian twin town of Brovary.
Who are the presents for?
The approximately 165 children for whom the gifts are intended are internally displaced persons from occupied eastern territories, children of front-line fighters and orphans. Gifts are being sought for girls and boys in the age groups 1 to 3 years, 4 to 6 years, 7 to 9 years, 10 to 13 years and 14 to 17 years. The gifts will be transported to Ukraine before Christmas.
How can I donate?
Anyone wishing to donate is asked to hand in new toys (or everyday objects) in their original packaging or gifts in very good condition in a cardboard box at the gate in the city administration building / Am Anger 15 / 07743 Jena (Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:00, Friday from 08:00 to 13:00). Please state the gender and age group of the recipient for each gift. Due to customs controls, please do not wrap the gifts. Volunteers will wrap them for Christmas before handing them over.
