Am Erlkönig

• Development of the local heating network for the emerging "Erlenhöfe" residential area is complete.

Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße

• Relocation of the telecommunications line is complete.

Thomas-Müntzer-Weg

• Media connection for the new building has been completed.

NEW CONSTRUCTION SITES / ROAD CLOSURES

Artur-Becker-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: House number 23
• Duration: 06 - 15.12.2023
• Reason: Replacement of the drinking water pipe
• Details: A detour to the animal shelter will be signposted on site. The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Am Erlkönig

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: At the Talstein nursery
• Duration: 07.12.2023 in the time from 7:00 - 12:00 o'clock
• Reason: Installation of transformer station
• Details: The measure is necessary in connection with the development of the electrical network for the emerging residential area "Erlenhöfe". The construction site can be bypassed on foot and by bike via the Saaleradweg.

Holzmarkt

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: At the "Roter Hirsch" inn
• Start: 02.12.2023
• Reason: Damage to the drinking water pipe
• Details: The road remains closed to traffic. The buses of the lines 10, 11 and 12 of the Jenaer Nahverkehr continue to run on a detour route. Delays are possible on the lines out of town.

Am Anger parking lot

• Type: Partial closure
• Duration: 04 - 22.12.2023
• Reason: adjacent demolition work
• Details: A safety area must be set up.

Rautal

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: Junction with Naumburger Straße to Kaufland delivery entrance
• Duration: 06 - 21.12.2023
• Reason: Surface course installation
• Details: A detour will be signposted on site.

Wiesenbrücke bridge

• Type: Closure on one side
• Duration: 05.12.2023 in the time from 8:00 - 15:00 o'clock
• Reason: Bridge inspection
• Details: Road users coming from Jenzigweg in the direction of Wiesenstraße can drive through the construction site on a one-way street. Out-of-town traffic will be diverted via Wiesenstraße - Am Anger - Camsdorfer Brücke - Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. The roadworks are safe for pedestrians.

EXISTING ROADWORKS

• Type: Closure on one side
• Location: between the junction Vor der Gembdenmühle and the Jena town entrance sign
• Duration: until 21.12.2023
• Reason: Road surface renovation incl. sidewalk construction and fiber optic expansion
• Details: Traffic will be guided safely past the construction site by means of a mobile traffic light system

Dammstraße

• Location: Magnus-Poser-Straße to Schenkstraße (1st construction phase)
• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 30.05.2024
• Reason: Laying of pipes and renewal of the road surface
• Details: The construction work is divided into two construction phases. Pedestrians can pass the construction site safely. A detour for private traffic will be signposted on site.

1st construction phase: Magnus-Poser-Straße to Schenkstraße
2nd construction phase: Schenkstraße to Charlottenstraße

Drackendorf (Am Goethepark and Am König)

• Type: Temporary restrictions
• Duration: until 22.12.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables

Erlanger Allee - cycle path connection between Lobeda-Ost and Lobeda-West

• Type: Closure of partial areas and path connections
• Location: between Theobald-Renner-Str. and Kastanienstraße junction and in the opposite direction
• Duration: until 29.02.2024
• Reason: Construction of a cycle path connection
• Details: In the first construction phase, the carriageway will be closed on one side and the pedestrian crossing at Platanenstraße to Paul-Schneider-Straße will be fully closed.

Ernst-Pfeiffer-Straße

• Reason: Surface course + boarding installation
• Details: The construction site can be safely crossed on foot

Grenzstraße

• Location: At house number 2-4
• Duration: until 01.03.2024

• Details: Pedestrians will be guided safely past the construction site with the help of a pedestrian emergency route

• Type: Temporary half-sided closure + footpath closure

• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cable
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Löbichauer Straße

• Type: Complete road closure
• Location: Lower Löbichauer Straße (Karl-Liebknecht-Straße to Eschenplatz)

• Reason: Civil engineering works
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Münchenrodaer Grund (corner of Am Mühlberg)

• Type: Closure on one side
• Duration: until 20.12.2023
• Reason: Rock stabilization work
• Details: The closed area is located behind the junction Am Mühlberg upwards in the direction of Schottplatz.

2x Naumburger Straße

• Type: Closure on one side
• Duration: until 31.01.2024
• Reason: Conversion of the streetcar stop + installation of track replacement
• Details: During the construction period, a one-way street will be installed from the Zitzmannstraße junction to Altenburger Straße. The one-way street is passable in the direction of the city center. The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: At house number 161
• Duration: until 20.12.2023
• Reason: Supply line work
• Details: Pedestrians will be guided safely past the construction site in the sidewalk area with the help of a pedestrian emergency route. Meanwhile, traffic will move on both sides.

Nollendorfer Strasse

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: between Thomas-Mann-Straße and Dornburger Straße
• Duration: until 30.05.2024
• Reason: Major road renovation

2x Oberaue

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: From the Saaleeingang Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld entrance to just before the Lichtenhainer Brücke bridge
• Duration: until 23.12.2023
• Reason: Work on the stadium grandstand
• Details: The Lichtenhain Bridge is not affected by the closure. A detour for pedestrians and cyclists is signposted.

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: From the main stadium access road to Roland-Ducke-Weg
• Duration: until 22.12.2023
• Reason: Expansion of the road and ancillary facilities
• Details: The construction site can be passed, but obstructions are to be expected. Cyclists can bypass the construction site safely and quickly. A detour has been set up and signposted for this purpose.
• Addition: From 05.12.2023, 13:00h to 06.12.2023, 18:00h the main access road leading into the Oberaue will be fully closed. The reason for this is track work. During the closure period, the Oberaue can be reached via the southern access road.

Rautal

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: from the junction of Erich-Kuithan-Straße to the junction of Ottoger-Mühlmann-Straße
• Duration: until 13.12.2023
• Reason: Asphalt work + construction of new sidewalk
• Details: The access road to Am Rosenhang remains closed. Residents must drive via the corridor path.
• Addition: Access to Erich-Kuithan-Straße is only permitted for bus traffic!

Remderoda

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: Road in the direction of Remderoda
• Duration: until 30.05.2024
• Reason: Laying of drinking water pipe
• Details: A detour via Münchenroda will be signposted.

Sandweg

• Type: Complete closure
• Place: House number 4-8
• Duration: until 22.12.2023
• Reason: Renewal of the district heating pipeline
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Schroeterstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: from the junction with Strigelstraße to the junction with Am Friedensberg
• Duration: until 30.04.2024
• Reason: Fundamental expansion of the road
• Details: A second construction phase for the rest of the road is expected to follow from May 2024

Winzerlaer Straße

• Type: Sectional half-sided closures
• Location: in the area from Buchaer Straße to Mühlenstraße
• Duration: until 22.12.2023
• Reason: Connection changes to the Fichtlerwiesen / cable work
• Details: The construction work will be carried out in 8 construction phases at intervals of approx. 170m. Traffic will be guided alternately by means of mobile construction site traffic lights. The client is Satdtwerke Jena.

Wöllnitz

• Type: Temporary half-side closure + sidewalk closure
• Duration: until 15.12.2023
• Reason: Civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables
• Details: The construction site can be passed safely on foot.

Ziegenhain

• Type: Temporary closures

• Reason: Continuation of civil engineering work for laying fiber optic cables

Zum Ziskauer Tal (Lützeroda)
