Code Week Thuringia starts
This year's Code Week Thuringia will take place from October 7 to 27, 2024 and the city of Jena is part of this initiative.
In over 60 exciting workshops and events across Thuringia, children and young people will have the opportunity to explore the fascinating digital world and gain practical experience in areas such as robotics, programming and innovative technology.
The aim of Code Week is to introduce young people to the basics of digitalization and inspire them to get involved. In Jena, participants can build their own robot, program their own game and much more. Whether they already have previous knowledge or are just starting out - there's something for everyone!
An enthusiastic participant of the last Code Week, Zacharias (10), reports: "I built my own robot and programmed a game with Scratch - it was great fun!"
Most of the events during Code Week are free, so everyone has the chance to take part and learn something new. Anyone interested can find out about the various events on offer and secure their place on the Code Week Thuringia website.
