Fire department operation in Jena Winzerla

The Jena fire department was called to a fire in Ernst-Zielinski-Straße in Jena Winzerla at 08:04 on Monday, 13.01.2025. The fire in a first floor apartment was extinguished by 8:40 a.m. thanks to the 25 firefighters from the professional fire department and the Jena Winzerla volunteer fire department. The two residents of the apartment left the apartment in good time and there are no injuries. No statements can yet be made about the cause of the fire. Necessary ventilation measures are currently being carried out. The usual smoke checks are also being carried out in neighboring apartments.
