Increased monitoring for the early detection of African swine fever

Hunters in Jena and the Saale-Holzland district must report dead or sick wild boars from February 27. Blood samples must also be taken from healthy animals. The aim is to detect African swine fever at an early stage in order to effectively contain its spread.
