Participation of Lord Mayor Dr. Thomas Nitzsche at the Urban Leader Summit

On Wednesday, 21.5.2025, Lord Mayor Dr. Thomas Nitzsche will take part in the Urban Leader Summit of the Urban Leader Institute (ULI). At a nationwide panel on "Housing and the future of urban living", he will present the urban-rural relationships that the city of Jena has been practicing with neighbouring local authorities for years, particularly in the "Living in the surrounding area" project.

As this event is taking place in Frankfurt am Main, the Lord Mayor will not be able to attend the City Council meeting until later. For this reason, Mayor and Head of Department Benjamin Koppe will chair the start of the City Council meeting.
