The environmental foundation WWF (World Wide Fund For Nature) calls on people around the world to take part in Earth Hour every year.
The city of Jena is also encouraging its citizens to take part: set a visible example for more climate protection with this campaign!
The lights in many public buildings and street lighting in the city will be switched off for one hour. The lights will then be switched back on from 9.30 pm. This may result in delays. The municipal service is endeavoring to keep the dark phase short.
