Open day at the care support center in Jena

The Jena Care Support Center cordially invites you to an open day on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Visitors will be able to gain an insight into the wide range of services relating to care advice, housing advice and technical support in everyday life.

In addition to individual advice on questions relating to care, living and independence in old age, the care support center also offers support in dealing with technology, smartphones and the Internet.

The senior citizens' office provides information about regular offers such as the smartphone café or individual consultation hours and home visits for technical questions. Volunteer media mentors and technology advisors from the housing advice service will be available in person for discussions and demonstrations on this day.

From 14:00, there will also be two keynote speeches on the topic of "Assistive technology for dementia". If you would like to better understand the clinical picture, you can put yourself in the shoes of those affected on the dementia course.

Admission is free - coffee and snacks will be provided.
