Open Day at the Jena Education Center

On October 8, 2022, the Jenaer Bildungszentrum (JBZ) invites you to an open day and you have the chance to inform yourself on site about the topic of education and training. On site, those interested in training can talk to trainees, become active themselves in the workshops and get to know companies from the region. Those who want to can test their manual skills and dexterity in the various workshops.

Questions will be answered on site by apprentices, trainees/employees of the company and representatives of the training companies.

In addition to the shareholders Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH, SCHOTT JENAer GLAS GmbH and JENOPTIK AG, other cooperation partners are also on board. They will all be happy to provide information about training and development opportunities in the company.

There will also be a bouncy castle and face painting for the youngest visitors. In addition, the Optical Museum will be showing optical experiments and the witelo e.V. association - sponsored by the City of Jena and the Economic Development Agency - will be bringing its Ozobots.
