Important information on carrying out the rapid tests

  • The test stations are primarily intended for people who do not have access to regular testing and who do not show any symptoms.
  • The rapid test offers are not suitable for visitors to senior citizens' facilities, symptomatic people, companies or facilities with their own testing regime. A free test to end a quarantine cannot be carried out at the rapid test center either. Only the team at the public health department can declare a quarantine ended.
  • It is not necessary to register in advance. People who wish to be tested should bring an identity card and, if required, a registration certificate.
  • Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • You must register on site before the test. After the test, you will have to wait 15 minutes. A member of the test team will check the result and issue a certificate.
  • If a test result is positive, a PCR test is carried out directly on site for validation and the data is forwarded to the public health department. Affected persons must go into home isolation immediately.
  • Waiting times are to be expected on site. The necessary social distancing rules should be observed.
