Paragraphs called into question with the minister
The Thuringian Equal Opportunities Act (ThürGleichG) is up for public discussion. Thuringia's Minister for Women's Affairs, Heike Werner, and Thuringia's Equal Opportunities Commissioner, Gabi Ohler, launched a broad participation process on October 5 with around 60 Equal Opportunities Commissioners (EOCs) and people working on equality issues from all over Thuringia. Paragraphs were called into question: what has proven to be effective, what has proven to be ineffective or in need of updating? According to Werner and Ohler, the results of the workshops at the meeting will be incorporated into further work on amending the law.
