Playground in Schlippenstraße to be dismantled

The playground in Schlippenstraße in Jena-Ost will be dismantled by Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ) on 13.04.2026 and can therefore no longer be used.

The reason for the dismantling is an upcoming construction project by Jena's public transport system. The area is needed for the construction site equipment in the course of the conversion of the rectifier substation.

Mud playground in summer 2027

However, the plans for a new mud playground at the site remain unchanged. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2027 (probably at the end of the first or beginning of the second quarter). Completion of the new playground is planned for summer 2027.
