Police analysis finds no cause

The police have completed their investigation following the large-scale fire department operation at Wenigenjena Community School on 08.11.2022. The investigations revealed that the brownish liquid found was a harmless spilled drink. Even the analysis of the room could not clarify why 28 teachers and pupils suffered from respiratory irritation and headaches last week. An unpleasant odor was also detected.

Further investigations are now being carried out by the Jena City Health Department. The affected room will remain closed until new findings are available.
