Preliminary decision for the construction of a new research building for the Leibniz Center for Photonics in Infection Research (LPI) on the property in the Drackendorf district, parcel 1, plot 298/9, Drackendorfer Straße

As part of the enforcement of the Thuringian Building Code (ThürBO) and the Building Code (BauGB) in the respective valid versions, the City of Jena, Building Regulations and Monument Protection Department, issued a decision dated October 9, 2023, under file number A-16/2023 to the University Hospital Jena, Corporation under Public Law, Commercial Director, Dr. Brunhilde Seidel-Kwem, Kastanienstraße 1, 07747 Jena, the preliminary decision for the construction project "New construction of a research building for the Leibniz Center for Photonics in Infection Research (LPI) on the property in the Drackendorf district, parcel 1, parcel 298/9, Drackendorfer Straße, subject to conditions on the basis of a procedure in accordance with § 74 ThürBO.

The neighbors who did not agree to the project must be notified of the building permit in accordance with Section 69 (3) ThürBO. As the neighboring properties are owned by more than 20 owners, the required notification is replaced by a public announcement. Notification is deemed to have been effected on the day of publication in the official gazette of the City of Jena.

Neighbors may inspect the preliminary decision file at the City of Jena (Building Regulations and Monument Protection Department - Team 2) during general visiting hours (Mon.+Thurs. from 8.00 to 12.00, 13.00 to 16.00, Thurs. 8.00 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 18.00, Fri. 8.00 to 12.00) or by making an appointment by telephone on 03641/495080.

Right of appeal:

An appeal may be lodged against this decision within one month of notification. The objection must be submitted in writing or for the record to the

City of Jena, Am Anger 15, 07743 Jena or to the City of Jena, Building Regulations and Monument Protection Department, Am Anger 26, 07743 Jena

to lodge an objection. The written form may be replaced by electronic form. In this case, the objection must be sent by transmitting an electronic document with a qualified electronic signature to the e-mail address bauordnung@jena.de(link sends email) (a simple e-mail is not sufficient) or to the special electronic public authority mailbox (beBPO) of the City of Jena.
