Reminder: Submit proposals for the volunteer card

Associations, organizations and initiatives have until 31.10.2023 to submit proposals for who should receive the Thuringian Volunteer Card.

Eleven years ago, the Thuringian Volunteer Foundation launched the initiative to thank citizens who are particularly committed to volunteering.

The Ehrenamtscard is valid for two years and offers discounts for a wide range of facilities in Jena and throughout Thuringia.

The City of Jena's Volunteer Advisory Board decides on the applications submitted. A total of up to 50 cards will be awarded this year. Lord Mayor Dr. Thomas Nitzsche will present the Volunteer Card at a big thank-you event at the end of November.
