Repair Café Jena to be hosted by Kommunalservice Jena on 08.06.2024

On Saturday, 08.06.2024, the Repair Café Jena (RCJ) will once again be making a stop at the visitor park of the recycling center at Löbstedter Straße 56. All interested parties are invited to join in from 13:00 to 17:00 and experience how much fun and sense it makes to repair things and make a valuable contribution to our environment.

The RCJ is known for its dedicated work, which emphasizes sustainability and community spirit. Instead of throwing away broken appliances and objects, visitors can make their treasures, including textiles, electrical appliances and bicycles, functional again under the guidance of experts. This approach not only promotes environmental friendliness, but also strengthens exchange and cooperation within the community.

The event is free of charge - although the RCJ is happy to receive donations - and is suitable for all age groups. The Repair Café Jena is looking forward to welcoming numerous visitors and to taking another step towards sustainability and resource conservation together.
