Run-off election on Sunday in Jena-Süd and Closewitz

Next Sunday, 26.6.2022, there will be a run-off election in the districts of Jena-Süd and Closewitz.

Christina Prothmann (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) and Stig Ludwig (SPD) are standing for election in Jena-Süd, Rainer Robotta and Alexander Maier in Closewitz. The two candidates in Closewitz were nominated by voters in the first ballot because no candidate had been found for the election in advance

About the postal vote

Postal voting documents can still be applied for online until Thursday, 23.6.22(www.jena.de/briefwahl)- and
also by email(briefwahl@jena.de) and in person at Löbdergraben 12.

You can also vote immediately at the postal polling station at Löbdergraben (opening hours: Wed. 9.00 am - 1.00 pm, Thurs. and Fri. 9.00 am - 6.00 pm)

Postal voters are requested to send their election letters so that they reach the city by Saturday, 25.6.22 at the latest.

Election letters can be posted in the deadline letterbox at Am Anger 15/Seite Gerbergasse by midnight on Saturday or handed in at the election center at Am Anger 15 on election Sunday.
